Possibly for a Player to Be Named Later

I know that is annoying to the fans, but it likely means we get to select off a list based on performance, which is a good thing.

Lets hope the yankees continued their tradition of overpaying for players.

I'd hate to see that. Kearns has been one of the few guys worth watching this year.

I suppose the front office can use this as a great incentive to sign guys in the off season.

I can't believe it's possible this lineup is worse now than it was on opening day. Amazing really.

Bankees just got Berkman. Now Kearns insurers them of their 28th WS. Haha.

This probably means Brantley is on his way back up.

Can he? Or isn't there some rule where they have to wait for something like 10 days before he can be back up?

Nope.... Brantley can't be called back unless it's to replace a DL'd player.

May finally mean we see Jordan Brown.

In perspective they were the #2 and #3 RBI guys on the team. The Indians were already hard to watch 80% of the time so what will they be now?

I've noted that we all understand how everyone has grown tired of Peralta but as a fan, god this team is going to suck in epic proportions.

Personally, I'd rather watch Jordan Brown or Nick Weglarz than Austin Kearns for the next two months.

Wegz is a bit banged up, so you have to assume it's going to be Brown.

I suppose we could look at the season as getting another prospect which makes it a succesful season

After all, that's what it's all about.

Compared to how Brown has been banged up his whole career?

If we get a piece that helps us at all whatsoever down the road, the trade is a win.

But, that being said, if Brantley's going to hit .160 again next year, they may need a stopgap in LF and at 3B.

I'd rather watch Jared Goedert than either of them.

LF isn't hard. It's the easiest position. Throw Goedert out there, he can't be terrible.

I don't think the Goedert has ever played LF..ever (although he has played a fair amount of 2B). Geez...you think he can't be terrible out there? Remember Ryan Garko?

I've seen enough of Nix and Marte. Put Goedert at 3rd for the rest of the season. DFA the other two and let Valbuena be the backup at 2nd, 3rd, and SS.

Brantley takes Kearns spot in LF. I'd have Duncan and Pronk platoon at DH. I have no idea what Jordan Brown was brought up to do. Last thing we need after trading Peralta and Kearns is another left-handed bat.

It was reported we got the Padres #1 pitching prospect for the next two months of Westbrook's career. I like that a lot.

We'll also save between 1.5 and 2 million bucks on the Wood deal, so let's use that to make sure our top two draft picks get signed.

Man, I love this Tomlin kid. Let's see if Jeanmar can keep pace with him tomorrow.

Zach McAllister is the PTBNL.

Big 6'5" 230 RHP who misses some bats. 402 K v. 132 BB in 511 IP. He's currently in AAA, with his highest minor league ERA to date.

NYY's 5th best prospect at the start of the year. Labeled as their pitching prospect with the best control.

Can't complain about that.
